Sorry cullen, I'm relatively new to the 900 and they have different configurations depending on the year. There is no diagram that I am aware of although some people say they have routing diagrams in their engine bay. I know mine pretty well because I've spent the last three months replacing just about everything that can be replaced. Vacuum line replacement is so very easy that it's just easier to buy ten feet of each size and then start replacing. You may need more of one size and you may have too much of the other but you can get most of it that way.
I don't like carb cleaner because it's not friendly to paint and I repainted a bunch of pieces on the engine. Plus that stuff tears up my hands worse than break fluid. For me water is just easiest. I'm talking mist, not stream so on a warm engine it evaporates quickly enough for me.
Just my opinions
