2.8 bar fuel pressure regulator solves lean idle

I'd replaced just about everything on this 85 900 turbo since I've gotten it and every time I think I've solved my problems something else needs to be replaced. Last thing was the fuel pressure regulator. Had a severely lean idle running condition, ruff cold idle, Hi NO emissions that caused me to fail my first emissions test with the car. I parked it once I saw the report and ordered a 2.8 bar regulator.
What a difference. I could tell as soon as it fired up it was running richer and guess what? No stalling after thirty seconds of running. It was mellow, O2 sensor right at .57 and after it heated up it started swinging between .2 and .8 with the idle softly surging a little like the computer was doing everything it was supposed to.
Can't wait to drive over to and get a new tag so I can go get another emissions test and see if I can start driving it all nice and leagal like.
