Harold,
The rear shock absorbers can be a burden but a bit of persuasion with a bottle jack should help.
A small 1" or 1.5" piston bottle jack can be extended upward through the port/hole (on the bottom side of the spring link/rear a-arm) immediately under and acting on the rear shock absorber lower bushing eyelet. A 6" extention should allow for enough compression of the rear shock absorber to clear the upper area of the spring link/a-arm).
Good luck!,
GSK @ SWEDISH DYNAMICS,INC.
