He is in NC ~40M N of where I77 starts.
He has the factory manuals with him but no spare ECU nor LH box. The only thing I know could have happened is that we ran the engine without the clutch cover [had to take it to the muffler shop before it closed] and the wiring harness got chewed up. The damage was limited to the wires that go down to the 5th gear switch and the two wires that go to the throttle body. I repaired the damage but it could have shorted to ground and damaged some other part of the circuit.
He has a good spark and the injection LH? system is working fine so At this point I am just trying to bypass the fault and try to activate some of the limp home functions.
