My 90 SPG is acting funny. I thought it may be a slipping clutch or slave cylinder, but I don't think it is. I'm not dropping any fluid, and it's not 100% like whey my master was going. It's not like I slip under load, accel, or up a hill. It all has to do with a jumpiness when pulling out the clutch pedal.

My new condo has horrible speed bumps, and I've made some nasty sounds as I pull over the bumps slowly and bang the underside. Basically whatever is just behind the front wheels smacks the speedbump from time to time. It is not a pleasant sound. Note my ragtop doesn't do it, only the SPG with lower springs.

Is there a chance one (or both) of the motor mounts is shot, and that's why I get a jumpy/slippy clutch feel as I let out on the clutch pedal? One idea is that the pedal has an oval at the pin where it meets the master cyl, too.

What can I do to check the mounts? It was easy to check the front before I replaced it on my ragtop. How to check the sides? I can't go on fluid leaks, because the valve cover gasket is leaking badly, and that's getting replaced, too. The engine bay looks kinda oily now. She'll be happy after a new gasket and a bath.
