Usually a good insurer will adapt a policy if proof can be made that "crash parts" were not used in the necessary repairs and that the car has passed a legal inspection. ("crash parts" is an insurance term meaning parts of lesser quality than those provided in OEM)
I've had two insurance companies refuse to provide mandatory liability and when I press the matter they have both accepted my rebuilders with adjusted policies. Take your car to a state patrol inspection center and they will issue paperwork deeming the car "roadworthy". There is usually a charge for this as you're dealing with a state agency (and as we all know they exist for nothing more than to generate revenue to guarantee their own employment....whoops that's a different rant). Once you have that inspection certificate take it to a local insurance agent and show them receipts for the repairs along with the certificate. You will always come out on top when dealing with someone face to face and you'll get a better price on your insurance.
