but be careful to not jamb them onto the end of the threads hard enough to damage the threads. Do they have double nuts or a locknut? I have installed some shocks where I don't think I hit the end of the threads but had compressed the rubbers quite a bit already and stopped. I have found factory original shocks where the nut was run down to the end and partially stripped so that when trying to remove it the threads stripped and required cutting the shaft from below.
