I have the same thing on my 90 900tc. I starts much faster when cold and if it were the check valve it would be the other way around..beside my checkvalve is new. The check valve keeps the fule from back draining into the tank so its stands to reason that cold...would be the longest time since last crank and it would take longer..as it did prior to the new check. What I think is happeing to mine, is that since I put the 3bar FPR Im getting too much fule in the system and it momentarly floods at warm starts. At cold it works like a choke and give it more fule and a quick start. Im not going to mess with the FPR since I have tweeked the APC box and everything elce on the turbo and it runs like a bat outta hell so I have to suffer with the 10 crank syndrom. If anyone knows better let me know cause my 900TC is in perfect and I mean perfect condition at 200+ miles and it would be nice if this didnt happen!
