Little Green Wire Was Kicking My As....(too long)

terisk. Was going to take a 300 mile trip today,But a previous fix unfixed itsel. I felt the first "miss" when leaving my little town, heading for the interstate. I hit a bump and the "miss" occurred but did not repeat itself so on I went. Got gas at the interstate Chevron, went to Taco Bell to relieve myself and when i tried to start the car, no go. spit sputter and stuff. Opened the hood, touched that huge connector hanging off of the distributor( I know it is supposed to be attached but it never has been), and a previous soldering job let go. I crammed one end of a piece of wire into the heatshrink and the other into the plug and back home I came. Decisions, decisions. I destroyed the plug enought to fix the black wire and the green wire broke just as I was tightening the distributor back in place. Fix the green wire and it broke again just as I was tightening the dist. in place. Finally have cut all wires to both connectors and am fixing it with molex connectors from inside computers. Wierd how the colors dont match across plugs. Hooray for small insulated crimping tubes. Good night saabers
