I went to the boneyard looking for replacement power window switch for my 88 900s (3 dr). Found useful parts in a 91 900 4dr. The REAL find was that the donor car had gray leather interior, and I snagged front buckets, back seat and back "back" + all seatbelt hardwear for $100 (and its all in GREAT shape).

Front buckets from the 91 bolt down just fine, but problem came when I realized that seatbelt config was different (auto in 88, with shoulder strap feeding from driver's right up to clasp over door frame; 91 has 3 pt harness, lap belt feeds from driver's left).

Good news: the pivot for seat-back swivel on seats from the 91 and surrounding frame mounts will accept the shoulder strap belt reel from the 88 seat, but needed to be tapped to accept anchor bolt.

Bad news: Despite what I thought was due diligence in the process of threading the bushing, I broke the tap in the process and the severed (and stuck) portion, ~4 threads in, has so far resisted all efforts to extract it. My latest plan is to use a tungston-carbide insert in my Dremel to grind it out-- I've used punches, no go; I broke the anchor tab on a friggin' arbor press, etc., but I'm still hopeful.

So, yeah-- 88-89 my presents certain "challenges" but I think it can be done.
