I have one rust bubble under the trim on the quarter panel that I have to get, but last night I found a biggie. The passenger side fender right underneath the washer bottle was rotted out. I removed the damping pad covering the area, cut out a 2"x4" hole, ground down what I could and then covered the remaining rust with naval jelly for the night. This morning there is no rust left. What's the opinion here? My choices are these: 1. I could get some bondo and some adhesive screens and patch the area with that after doing a couple of coats of acid etch primer. 2. I could try to find someone to weld a patch in place. 3. I've been reading about Devcon products in relation to rifle bedding. They make a number of metal-filled epoxies. These epoxies don't shrink measurably. What about using an aluminum or a steel filled epoxy in place of bondo? Opionions please. Thanks
