I bought two used antenna on Ebay. Both work great and I'm keeping the second 'in reserve.' They are very easy to change out. Basically you pull back the carpeting after you remove whatever 1/4 turn carpet fasteners are in the area. There are two bolts that hold the antenna mounting assembly in place. Where the antenna passes through the metal skin of your car's body there is simply one nut holding it in place. Use care not to damage the nut.
There is one electrical connector to unplug. I believe all of the Saab antennas share the same connector so it should be just 'plug and play.' If your used antenna comes with a mounting bracket already then you can probably just bolt it in place. If not you will have to transplant the bracket but that is also very easy. Make sure you have the drain tube connected and run so that any water drains easily. That's all there is to it.
