Air Conditoning 900 Turbo Convertible (long)

Regarding this Hydrocarbon Freon, since it is compatible with everything is there a need to change out the dryer and flush the old R114 oil? I have had the system empted, I put on r134 fittings, and a can of sealant. I am undecided as to whether changing out the dryer and flushing the system is over kill or not since this new freon is so compatible.
The AC on the car has not worked since I purchased but if I jumper across the LP cutoff switch it starts right up.
Assuming the work should still be done:
Which bolt on the compressor to suck out the old oil?
And where is the expansion valve?
