Hey man, hope things are going well for you! Shoot me an email or call if/when you get rid of the gauge pod, I would be interested.
As for the intercooler, usually the best thing to do with them is simply poor 5oz or so of degreaser into the unit and shake it around a bit. Over time, oil depotits are common in the bottom areas of the cooler which could restrict flow. Also, be sure you are using (or looking to by new) the 10-bar IC. The older style are 15-bar, and they flow less air than the updated 10-bar. To figure out what you have, or what you are looking at buying, count the solid bars from the left to the right. It is very obvious when you see the two together. If you currently have a 15-bar IC, and the one on ebay is 10-bar, $99 would be a good deal for the upgrade.
Let me know what you end up doing...Sorry I missed the last meeting. I ended up heading home to FL early, to squeeze as much as I could out of my spring break.
Peace....
