Ground wire issue... Posted by Clay McNeely [Email] ![]() ![]() ![]() |
Hello, everyone. I have, what appears to be, a ground wire underneath the throttle. The end of the wire nearest the firewall is not connected to anything, and I'm wondering if it should be attached to the alternator, and if so, where?. The length and direction of it makes me think that the alternator would be the most logical placement, but I haven't been able to look at another 900 similar to mine in order to verify this. Also, I'm needing to know if connecting this ground wire will fix the problems I have been experiencing in the thread linked below. By the way, this is on a 1990 Saab 900 Turbo. I realize this may all be a little vague, so please feel free to ask questions for clarification purposes or additional information. Thanks so much in advance for your feedback, suggestions, and input...I appreciate it! Drive safely, and KEEP ON SAABING!!!
