Maybe oil soaked. Maybe brake fluid contamination. One thing is for sure.
One HP is about 750 watts.
One hair drier is about 1500 watts.
Say you were slipping your clutch and producing a loss of, maybe, 80 HP. That is (approx) equal to 80*750 or 40 hair dries on high. Lots of heat without much cooling air.
