Is this possible? I haven't quite figured it out yet...but maybe four or five times this winter - my car will put out a crapload of white smoke from the exhaust that doesn't quite smell right. I think...and I'm not sure about this...that it seems to occur just when there is a relatively significant drop in temp overnight. I know that I have a slight oil leak. And if I am burning oil - doesn't that stay consistent while you are driving? Cause the only time I have smoke is at idle or on downshifting. Not when I have my foot on the gas. My other final option is that I have no catalytic. But then again my car did this a few times last winter when I still had my OEM exhaust system with the cat. So - I'm hoping that you guys might have some ideas. I'd love some insight. Thanx.
