New ball joints - do they creak?

I had new ball joints put in the front of my '91 900TC, and while it made a wonderful difference to the car's overall tightness, the car is incredibly creaky, especially in the morning. It improves after the car has been driven for a while, but I still get the noise if I go over speed bumps.
The car is going in on Monday to have a spring "fluid flush" and I want to get this creaking addressed. It's also had its shocks and shock bushings replaced last spring. Is there anything else that I should have the dealer look at? Subframe? Other bushings? Or should I assume that since the new ball joints going in caused the creaking, that they are almost definitely the issue? I assume they can be greased?? I ask, because I recently restored another car of mine, and found that as you upgrade components in the suspension, the older/weaker ones start to make themselves MUCH more apparent. I was wondering if that was the case here.
Cheers,
Paul H.
