I installed new brembo rotors on my old 9kT - great braking power when paired with the PBR pads - really happy with that setup. On present '88 900 (same brake calipers, roughly similar weight car) the previous owner installed cross drilled rotors. While they do look "sporty" the braking performance sucks. Would never buy drilled (or slotted) rotors again - even if there were cheaper than normal Brembo discs.
Installed same setup (Brembo+PBR) on my wife's VW Golf and again saw good results.
I see no reason to use campy crap on the car - OEM style (vented, non-perforated discs) is superior at normal people driving speeds.
