during last August, took a one-way flight from CT to GA, and drove it all the way home--with the top down!!!!

Found this baby on a well-known free auto finder website. It was everything I had been looking for: '93 or '94, black ext/beige int, leather, turbo, stick, fully-loaded, excellent condition, around 100K miles (it had 123K -- I'm a DIY'r, so this mileage wasn't a concern). Got the whole package for $4300. After test-driving it and looking it over (the top is brand new), decided to take it. All of this just by finding an ad online.

I've owned numerous and different styles of Saab's ('88 900S 3-dr, '96 900S 5-dr, '97 9000CSET, '98 9000CSET), so this was the first convertible Saab I owned. I am totally in love with it. Yes, there is a major blind spot on either side of the car, but I've learned to use my side-view mirrors, as well as positioning the car enough to view side-traffic when approaching an intersection that it isn't a problem anymore.

Being able to push a button to let the fresh-air and sun in is awesome. I also own a 1985 Nissan 300ZX (since brand new, still in showroom condition) which has t-tops, and those are bothersome to remove and store compared to the convertible.
