Of course, if you're taking this step you might as well look at replacing the hard to reach lower radiator hose, and maybe the heater hoses as well. But if "xhayni" is really short on cash, he could just do the pump by itself and forget about the maintenance items. I think if I were doing it for the first time on a car that needed the other maintenance, I'd pull the compressor too so I could replace the hoses, and I'd replace the belts, and I'd flush the coolant...
