Long cranking...long post

OK, I am at wits end. My '86 900T conv was taking upwards of 20 cranks until it would turn over. I replaced or went over:
all intake boots, tubes, etc...all are tight and I pull 21 inches of mercury at idle...within specs
Replaced NTC and tested new unit to within specs
replaced AIC valve, injectors, FPR and fuel check valve (three times for the check valve)
Checked the fuel pressures and all are within specs
Checked all connections and continuity with the ECU
Checked O2 sensor...within specs
Set timing, replaced plugs, wires, coil, cap and rotor...set timing
The hooter valve holds vacuum...within specs
I get boost into the fuel cutoff with a modified box.
after replacing/repairing/checking above parts the car turned over within 1/2 a crank and idles great...this happening ONLY when the car is cold in the morning. IF I run it and it sets three to four hours then it takes 10-15 cranks to fire over...but again it idles fine after it is started.
I am going crazy trying to figure out why it takes so long to crank after it is warm. Any suggestions?
