assuming the top is in good condition. In that price range, finding any car in excellent condition is about like winning the lottery. Finding a Saab convertible of that year, in that condition, from someone you know and I assume trust, with only 80K is not something you do every day or even every year. A turbo convertible with 80k is going to bring more like $6000 to $7000. Ones for $4000 will have 130to150K and probably need $2500 worth of work the first six months you own it--and they aren't that easy to find. With a five speed an "S" plenty of fun to drive--it's probably as fast or faster than an MGB or Triumph. I have a '93 Turbo convertible. Normally I'm a lead foot, but when I have the top down, for some reason I just chill and drive slow. I'd think twice about letting that one get away.
