rotten vandals!

I come back to my car after work yesterday, and someone hucked a brick through my driver's side window. Nothing taken, the car's not even unlocked. Just a ton of glass and some smug sonofabitch someone who thinks he's a better man because he can mess with another person's vehicle.
The glass is covered by my insurance, thankfully, but I'm worried about another type of vandalism: After I cleaned it up and went to drive it home, the car started sputtering at low RPMs and stalled twice when trying to move it from a stop light. Once the RPMs got above, say, 3500, it behaved normally, and this morning driving it over to the shop it seemed OK, but I'm worried someone may have dumped something in my tank. I'm *hoping* it's just air or a bit of water in the fuel line; it's been rainy and miserable here in Boston for the past few days, low 40s - 50s. I don't have much experience with condensation in the tank so I'm hoping someone can vet these symptoms and tell me I'm just paranoid.
Thanks -- I hope my bad luck means good karma for someone on the continuum. :)
