I had the ES100's on my 2K viggen which the previous owner installed on the car, when I purchased the car the tires were 2K miles old. The dry traction I thought was OK at the time, lots of wheel spin with 2nd gear roll ons & the car had horrible tramlining & torque steer. After attending a drivers school with these tires I chunked them & decided I should replace them, I chose the toyo proxes 4 which is their new all season tire. Torque steer as well as tramlining was pretty much gone as well as I now have zero wheel spin on 2nd gear rollons.
Overall, I think the ES100's are junk, poor wet/dry traction & their sidewall is very weak!
Not familar with the XGT-H4's but if you are coming from the AVS intermediates I would think you would want something with more grip.
