Could be a bad AMM. Or maybe just a stuck AIC. The first thing I would do is clean out your throttle bed with carb spray and a toothbrush. Make sure you get rid of any buildup wher the throttle butterfly hits the bore. Then, clean out your AIC valve with carb spray and finish with a shot of WD40.
Look for vacuum leaks. A propane torch(unlit) directed at all areas of the intake will uncover vacuum leaks when the idle increases as propane gets sucked in.
Make sure AMM connector is clean and secure. If still, no good, swap in a known good AMM. My guess is that you have a bad AMM, but might as well check the free stuff first. If you need a new AMM, give Jim a call at sobstory(site sponsor) 800-583-0370. He has good quality rebuilt AMM's for a low price.
