OEM and many aftermarket pads(even high-end) will coat your wheels in ugly brake dust after a few miles. Rears aren't quite as bad as fronts.

Why don't you diy. You can replace the rear brakes in about 1 hour, even the first time you do it. Or ask the shop if they will put in a specific brand of pads. If not, find a shop that will. While there are a few low dust brands out there, one brand that I have used is PBR. Their two major lines are Metalmaster and Deluxe. Metalmaster have a harder compound that resists heat better, but gives a less "grippy" pedal feel. The Deluxe are a bit softer. I have used both, but lean towards Deluxe for regular driving. Both are very low dust and last much longer than OEM. They are available from site sponsor like sobstory for under $40, maybe under $30. Give Jim a call at 800-583-0370 and order a set.
