91 900 cutting out after filling tank

I have a 91 900 that has been having a intermittent problem where it just turns off. I let it sit for about 30min, and it starts up and runs fine for an undetermined length of time. I replaced everything fuel related, fuel pump, filter, pressure regulator. I also replaced the ignition amplifier. I have noticed that it is most likely to shut off after driving approx 20 or 30 miles after filling up the gas tank. Today when it shut off on me I had someone crank the motor while i checked for a spark from the coil wire, I couldn't see or feel any spark. This leads me to believe my problem is a failing Hall sensor which i was going to replace next anyway, but the fact that it shuts off after filling the tank confuses me a little bit. Vapor lock maybe?....is that even possible on a fuel injected car? Maybe it's just a weird coincidence. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
