Not sure what model car you have... but the T-stat is the easiest one of the two. This is a 5 min job and well worth your time with summer comming up. The Thermal switch is a bit harder. You will need to remove some hoses to get a pair of vise grips or channel locks around this part (upper drivers side of radiator). Again worth your time to prevent an overheat.
