What's that? And nobody mentioned the FPR? Does your car still have the emmissions sticker with a diagram showing where the hoses go? I wonder if they changed them from year to year? So what I'm gonna say is for '89 non-turbo 16-valve.
I remember the larger breather hose from the valve cover goes UPSTREAM of the throttle. The smaller hose from the VC goes to a fitting on top of the intake manifold, farther forward.
My distributor had no vacuum hose, so the fitting in the middle of the throttle body was capped.
The ELCD valve on the charcoal can (low in the left-front fender) has a plastic tube, then a larger rubber hose going to the larger nipple in the fitting on top-rear of the intake manifold.
The fuel pressure regulator hose goes to the smaller nipple of the top-rear fitting.
The brake booster hose is the biggest, it goes to the side of the manifold. It's check valve has an arrow pointing towards the manifold.
The fitting on the side of the manifold also has a small nipple. That hose runs along the cowling (base of windshield) over to the vacuum reservoir bottle in the right fender. Vacuum hose from there goes inside to work all the ventilation dampers.
