Need advice--replacing Panhard/torque arm bushings

Hi folks,
I am seriously considering doing this job to replace all the rubber (part # 11, 12, 13, & 14 in photo) in my 900S's rear suspension this summer. Why? Well, the car feels like someone kicks you in the rear end over moderate & big bumps or bridge expansion joints; feels like it shimmies sideways in the rear over bumps. Very unstable, annoying, and unsettling at interstate speeds.
When I replaced the rear brake pads & rotors a few months ago, I noted that the torque arm bushings looked TERRIBLE. I mean the bolts are there in the middle and there's practically NO rubber left to the bushings at all. Thus, that's my diagnosis. Couldn't really see the Panhard rod's bushings as easily.
Are there any tips on this job that aren't in the Bentley 8V manual?
Will I need to remove the shocks to do this? I read that the lower torque rod bushings require being pressed in/out for removal. Is this true of the uppers? How about the Panhard rod bushings?
Thanks in advance,
Micah in NC
Note: Photo below is to put a "face" with the nomenclature I used here; photo is from eEuroparts.com site.
