hi elvis. the master cylinder is under the brake fluid reservoir on your car. there is a flex line going to it from fld res, and a silver hard line coming out the back of it. it is a tight fit getting a wrench in on the flare nut, use flare nut sockets/wrenches(13mm)otherwise you risk damaging nut on pipe. moving alternator will give you more room but you can do it without doing that, although you will probably do wihtout some skin on the back of your hand as well :-). the m/c disconnects easily on inside of car under dash/behind pedals with two nuts and one clevis pin.

if you are rebuilding m/c, make sure you get the seals in the right way, rebuild kits are cheap, but make sure bore of your m/c is not pitted (shine a light down it to see) and make sure you clean out all the old dirt deposits in it. after rebuilding you will need to pump the hell out of it to get air out, or use pressure bleeder. you can help bleed m/c by cracking the line at the back of the m/c to get air out there, but you will still need to bleed to get air out of pipe down from that. bleed nipple is on slave cyl at front of car, by clutch. you can see nipple sticking out of driver side of engine (plastic clutch cover)behind air filter can under intercooler piping, again a tight fit.

check and make sure you are not leaking fluid from bottom of "bell housing" under engine (above skid plate) as if this is the case your slave has gone tits up and its a more major job (pulling clutch).

the bentley manual has basic instructions on how to rebuild m/c, although the picture of the seal position is a little unclear depending on whether the seals look exactly like the pic or not, not all rebuild kits are identical.

hope this helps a little. mark :-)
