I have owned a 96 NG900 for about a year now, and have enjoyed doing some work on it. But then, a $65 85 4door 2.0T C900 just showed up on my driveway. It has several issues, but I am looking forward to it. I really think the essentials are going to be fine. tires bald. muffler gone. brakes spongy. battery dead. suspension shot. But it seems to run pretty good, after a 2 minute warm-up period of rough idling and sputtering (need to keep foot on the gas). It cycles at about 4 second intervals, but once warmed up, seems to idle and perform much (relatively) better.
in the NG world, that means doing a thorough swabbing of the IAC valve (which I did), and checking for vacuum leaks (maybe), and trying to run some techron concentrate to clean up the injectors. I need a bit more advice on this, though.
