Just finished getting 85 spg (133K on the clock) together after a long drawn out winter. Took out for a spin with no problems. Went out the other night in the rain and got a block from the house and it died...dead...no crank, no lights, nothing....push started (luckily was at top of small hill when died) and ran like a bandit without any further problems....replaced starter today between rain showers (has rained 19 out of last 21 days) and still won't crank. when turn the key to start the interior lights dim....new battery less than week ago....rewrapped rotten wires in engine harness and replaced main harness with new one. Could it be something as simple as ignition switch....have checked the fuses, grounds, battery reads 12.8 Volts and all connections and all seem to be fine including the ground from the block to the alternator. Still can push start and runs fine...signed stumped and wet in Wisconsin
