Ran perfectly 3 months ago-went on long trip-had rough idle for warm-up.
Two days ago I was working on the AC-and had my son inside the car hitting the AC button, while I watched the clutch and manifold guage-well-instead of just hitting the ac, he was holding it in-the compressor took some charge but then leaked it out (still looking for the leak) BUT after that the car ran rough at idle and durning regualr driving.
So-I cleared the codes (accidently cleared it before I could read the faults)-it ran great for a few miles then it started running rough again.
Now-it runs rough for about 30 seconds-then levels off and it's nice and smooth-I go for a drive (20 miles) and now at idle it's rough again. If I wait an hour or so and then start it-it runs rough for 30 seconds and then levels off.
I'm going to try to get the codes-but do you gentelmen have any thoughts?
thanks
Rogo
