Was driving in a truck today behind an early 90's Volvo today when all of a sudden she blew. Not a big gasloline explosion or anything but it blewup in a cloud of smoke. Oil was sprayed all over my windshield, sparks flying from underneath, chunks of something flew against the the front of my truck. Before I was able to get in other lane and pass, it had stopped smoking for second (definate oil burning) and then blew again. Not as dramtic with flying debris but got all cloudy out of exhaust and engine to limit all visability. The stange part this guy kept driving, put on flashers and drove slow in breake down lane for a while (I cannot beleive this thing was still moving). This didnt seem like radiator hose or anything. I cant even explain. I swear 1quart of oil shot out of exhaust onto my windsheild. Took forver for the wipers to clear. Just curious to what you guys think happened to this guys car? The debris and sparks where very unusual.
