Hi All,

I'd like to solicit everyone's opinion on the asking price for a 1986 900 Turbo. Below are some details on the history and condition of the car that I’ve obtained from the current owner. The current asking price is $1,000. Thanks in advance!

*******
History
I'm the third owner of the vehicle; however, I have detailed service records that I can provide. At 202k, the engine and gear box were replaced with a 1985 unit, which had approximately 90k. I bought the car with 292k on the dash. I've since put approximately 14k on it, so the engine has approximately 194k.

Engine and Mechanical
The engine runs well, but has a minor oil leak. The syncrho ring in second gear is troublesome, but once you get into 2nd it is still strong. Third, fourth and fifth are strong as well, and the car has great passing capability in 5th gear. The last section of the muffler is gone and needs to be replaced. The clutch is strong and in good condition. The RPM gauge on the dash works intermittently. The AC is installed in the engine area, but the belt is missing. The turbo charger is original and runs well.

Tires
All four tires are new and have less than 3K.

Interior
The sunroof lining is in great shape. No sags. The overall interior is clean. The driver's seat is not the original; it is a replacement from a four door model, but the color is consistent with the rest of the interior. There are a few cracks on the dash. The radio is in the dash, but not connected.

Exterior
There are a couple of small dents on the body, as well as a few rust spots on the interior of the doors, and a couple around the body. The drivers side mirror needs to be replaced (just the mirror - the housing and motor are intact and functioning).
