I am very biased. Some of you might know what kind of issues I've had with the NG900 ('96 SET). Long story short, within one year of ownership (2nd owner and bought it from a nice grandma), heater hose rupture, two brake jobs, DI, O2, Power Seat, SID pixels, Check Engine Light, A/C leak, blown head gasket, and then blown engine! Too top it all off, a speeding ticket (last one was seven years ago) while trying to make it to dealer to see why CEL and SRS light came on. I'm finally getting rid of it. Good Riddance! While I was getting it fixed, I relied on '91 Turbo Convertible. No issues other than a flat tire (which isn't the car's fault, because that tire was from another car) for the 4 months that I drove it. Now I'm driving '90 SPG as daily and '95 Aero as back up. I'm a LOT happier now...
I do have to credit the NG900 for:
- Excellent stereo sound
- Very comfortable and 'rich' interior
- HUGE trunk space (more than Aero or the C900)
But you DO have to find a well-maintained C900 in order to avoid repairs, as these care are getting old. I recommend 1990 and newer with loving owners.
Hope this helps,
James from Michigan
