AC electrical? Fans run with key in pocket, AC on!

Folks,
On the list of things to fix on the SAAB we have arrived at near the bottom.
While using the A/C everything is fine. If I park the car and get out with the A/C on and the key in my pocket. Both fans continue to spin as well as the backup lights stay lit. If I shut the A/C off (push AC button) the fans and back up lights go away (if the temp is below 1/2 with 82C stat). There does not appear to be a time delay here, they just stay on.
Any suggestions? I have the sedan and the added ground on the drivers side taillight already. I have also already replaced the LH side of the front harness. The LH harness goes from the LH ECU forward to the engine compartment. The symptoms have always remained. The APC harness is OEM.
TIA,
Ed S
