Anyone else have problems with horn and steering column of 1989 900S Saab? My horn stopped working a year and half ago, had it worked on - they told me the steering column was rusted on the inside and was affecting the horn. They scraped rust off and the horn worked for awhile, then it stopped. Then it only worked in the rain and when there was moisture in the air. Doesn't work now and I don't want to pay another $600 to have them scrape the rust off or more money to replace the steering column unless I could get the parts from a junkyard for less. Car won't pass inspection without a horn and I'm trying to replace the wiring - any clues?
