Found the origional Saab-Guard moundted and "working" in my wifes Classic 900s (1989) I have searched online and found very little information on the wiring of this device. I am currenty attempting to install a new alarm system and would like to use as much of the Saab-guard's wiring system as possible. From much research I have determined the following:
#1 Black - On/Off Switch (between seats?) or to motion detector
#2 White - On/Off switch (between seats?) or to motion detector
#3 Red - Switched +12v
#4 Yellow - to Horn
#5 Brown - Trunk Pin/Switch for cargo light
#6 Grey - door pins/switches for courtesy light
#7 Purple (or violet...blue/white on diagram?) - park lights
#8 Blue - Constant +12v
Is this all correct?
I tried to make this easier to read by color coding the Wiring diagram that is floating out there on the web. (see img link)
