A few years ago, I replaced the worn-out suspension in my '86 SPG (same oem springs as the regular '86 turbo) with aftermarket springs (Jamex) and shocks (Koni).
The rear of the car had definately sagged quite a bit more than the front, because the ride height of the car didn't change a bit after the rear suspension was swapped out. Changing the front pieces allowed the front end to drop a bit, giving the car a more "muscular" stance instead of the "saggy pants" look.
