A 205/50 will read a bit fast on your speedo/odo and is a bit lower to the ground. I've been running this size (Falken Azenis) for the past few weeks vs. my 16" Super Aero setup because the Azenis is sooo damn fun in the summer. You should be able to run a 205/55 with no fitment problems except that the stock 5.5" rim is a bit narrow for it. A stout, high performance tire should have stiff enough sidewalls to deal...
