Drivetrain swap/mounts question

I know this ones been beat to death; but the archives weren't as much help as I'd hoped, so here goes.
I'm changing over an '87 900 turbo convertible automatic (originaly hydraulic side mounts and solid front mount), to a 5-speed.
The donor car was an '86 spg 5-sp (solid sides and hydraulic front).
From looking at the front mount braces welded on both bodies, they seem identical. It appears as though I can use the brackets from the '86 (with the hydraulic mount), on the '87. (Actually, I intended to switch the hydraulic out for a plate type solid mount from one of the performance guys.) The point is it looks as though the front will all bolt up.
Also, if I reuse the side mount engine brackets from the '86 (solid), it looks like the solid side mounts will also bolt right up.(The holes in the unibody also appear identical.)
What I'm trying to get here is solid mounts all the way.
I just don't want to find out I'm wrong while dropping in the engine. So somebody please correct me if I am.
Thanks,
Keith
