If your car is in really good shape and has no rust, it could sell at a higher price.
I looked for a long time in the local ads, and found a lot of really bad examples....rust, bad repairs, badly maintained.
Best "bad" examples....the guy with the flat tire, windows wouldn't go up or down, driver door used to be red (on a grey car the red showing through was REALLY attractive)...that gut begged me to make an offer....found another car in "great shape" that appeared to have had a fire under the hood and carpets were wet even though the car was parked in a parking garage and apparently hadn't been moved for weeks.
I settled for a rust free example with near perfect paint and a flawless interior....paid a little more.
So, if you have been taking care of the car, post more pictures, explain why your car is in better shape, and wait for the discriminating buyer who doesn't mind paying more.
