New engine not turning

I recently had to overhaul my 2.0 Lt engine from my 87 Saab 900 non-turbo, 8V, single cam, standard. One of the valves had broken off and fell into the piston causing it to break and the engine stalled. Needless to say I had to replaced the engine. I found a good engine with 47,000 original miles on it. It's in good condition and shows no signs of being exessive milage. It came with a lot of the original parts..almost brand new. Well ..I replaced the engine..my only problem is that I'm unable to tun the engine..possibly cause is been without turning for such a long time...and I made the mistake to assemble it without mannually turning it while it was outside the car. The engine is in but I'm unable to turn it.....I have removed the spark plugs and put some Marvel mistery oil inside to loosen but still no luck.....any suggestions on how I can overcome this problem?
