If by "yellow stuff" you mean regular old greenish-yellow, then by all means don't use the Prestone orange. It's actually Dexcool, and it is easily contaminated with even the slightest amounts of "old green". This causes a thick rusty reddish sludge to build up in several areas (for me it was worst where hoses meet metal), and it likes to seep (although mine didn't when I tried it). Unless you have a full-proof method of blasting out all the old stuff from everywhere in the cooling system, don't use Dexcool. Even if you can get the system clean, Dexcool is only "extended-life" for cars that have always used it (mostly GM).

On the other hand, MB and other G05 spec (often pale yellowish) coolants are not as sensitive to trace amounts of "old green" and is just as protective as Dexcool. Zerex G05 is the most readily available of these. So, if by "yellow stuff" you mean G05, then just flush and fill as usual.

Don't forget to set heater control to hot. Also, make sure you pull the engine block drain plug. which tends to collect alot of crud and allows alot more coolant to drain out. After draining, flush through every hose you can with a water hose and then flush a couple of times with distilled only by filling and running the engine until hot. Then drain again as before, put your new pump and hoses in and make sure you get 1.25 gallons of coolant in there before adding your distilled.

Probably more advice than you wanted.
