JustinHiFi hits the nail on the proverbial head, how perfect do you want it to be? Quality paintwork is expensive, a thousand bucks disapears in a body shop very quickly. Why? A good paint booth (required) costs about as much as much as a 2004 Saab convertible, the EPA rules on paint vapor emissions are stringent and must be followed and good paint costs considerably more than good whiskey, try several hundred bucks a gallon. Workers need to be paid and health concerns for auto painters are real, they need expensive safety hardware.
On another rust-related note, have you looked at your lower A-arm mounting points lately? These should be cleaned and inspected if you want to grow old with your convertible,
Good luck,
