Seems a bit high Posted by Saabpilot [Email] (#134) [Profile/Gallery] (more from Saabpilot) on Wed, 4 Aug 2004 07:30:35 In Reply to: 1994 900T CV - 130,000Km, $12,900CDN - >>, Canadiansaaber, Wed, 4 Aug 2004 06:50:38 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
I just exchanged some Canadian currency at my bank last week and the exchange rate was 73 cents per dollar so that would make your car about $9,400 USD. It seems a bit high for the mileage but it depends on what shape it's in I suppose. It is desireable since it was the last year of the classic convertible. I don't know what the sticker was when it was new.
I have an '87 900T convertible 5-speed that I had professionally appraised this year and was given $10,000 as the value (which I thought was high but I didn't complain). But my car only has 86,000 miles and has an airflow kit, somewhat rare Super Inca wheels and a perfect canvas top.
Like any car you need to try to find out the maintenance history. And of course look at the top to see if it will need replacement in the near future. If it does you can use that as a bargaining point.
