looking for advice (long)

I am torn and can't seem to make a decision. I currently own a decent '89 900T that was a southern car, so its pretty much rust free and also a '96 tacoma. I live in Syracuse (salt city) and originally planned on keeping the car as a summer car, and using my truck in the winter, or when its crappy out. I have now decided that I can not afford to have 2 vehicles and need to settle with one. Being that this is SAABNET I'm sure most will agree that I should keep my car and sell the truck. My main concern is destroying a beautiful C900 by driving it through the winter here. I have owned 5 saabs, and know they're great in the winter; but I also know that they require work now and then, and sometimes its hard to rely on them completely. I drive about 15-20,000 miles/year.
Any suggestions? I have only owned the car for 4 months, but she seems decent, and I have the records of the work done before I got the car (replaced ECU, turbo, steering rack, some other small things). and I've done some needed work: brakes/exhaust....
should I go with my heart (saab) or Toyota reliability????
Thanks in advance for your advice!
